About the Role

As a Science Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons to secondary pupils across KS3 and KS4.

Although schools may look to utilise your subject expertise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, this role also includes opportunities to teach general Science, making it ideal for adaptable teachers who enjoy variety and flexibility.

You will encourage pupils to develop scientific knowledge, practical skills, and confidence while creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 * Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science depending on school requirements * Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities * Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively * Promote enthusiasm for Science through practical and theoretical learning * Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement * Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams * Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent * Degree in a Science-related subject * Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 * Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
